At the ongoing Mobile World Congress happening in Barcelona, Sony Ericsson went ahead of the competition and quickly announced its new Walkman phone dubbed W995. Touting an 8.1 megapixel camera, the Sony Ericsson W995 lets you watch news, TV shows or blockbusters in high quality video, watch YouTube videos using its Turbo 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity and of course enjoy full music entertainment with its Walkman features.

The Sony Ericsson W995 features Media Go, a Sony Ericsson mobile application that lets you transfer audio, photos and videos from your phone to your PC automatically in their high-quality goodness. It also features a useful podcasting tool which you can quickly access from the phone’s menu. The phone also comes with a built-in stand which will be most useful when watching movies with your friends while you’re out on camping or road trips. It’s built-in stereo speakers complements its high-quality video resolution as well, providing for a great movie-watching experience.

Aside from its music and video playing features, the Sony Ericsson W995 also features a nifty 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus, photo flash and face detection technology. You can print photos into a full size A3 photo paper without sacrificing its quality.

The Sony Ericsson W995 features a Walkman player with clear stereo, clear bass, album art, PlayNow, TrackID, SensMe, Bluetooth stereo, mp3 tones, 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers, and shake control.
